I have recently completed a significant commision of
diverse work for a Law Group with six offices in the UK that wanted to use art
work as a way of bringing the offices together as one group, but reflecting the
characteristics of the cities that they were located in as individual practices.
There is a bridge between traditional correctness and creativity of the
artists. My style extends from an architectural preciseness to a form
of creative energy and mixture of diverse ability not all artists have.
I am an orthodox artist and do accept that my client’s have the right to
express their views of artwork. I aim to stimulate the mood necessary for
the particular surroundings to create art for discussion. The artwork that
provides a focal point in a room, just as you would add a piece of fine
jewellery to lift a plain dress to make it stylish.
Bespoke artwork is a choice of a client embellishing all their needs, helped
by my sensitivity of the visionary ability also revitalising what is already
there so it continues to reflect the ‘true you’.
I have a passion for detail and precise work. Artworks can take from
anything from 5 weeks to 12 – obviously depending on the detail involved.
Having agreed a subject with the client, I will prepare ‘draft’ ideas and
composition sketches. Discussions always continue – there must be an honesty
in the working relationship between client and artist. With this
participation so important a finished work can be completed with the
knowledge it has been inspired between both people; so important is
‘participation’.
I see my artistic ability as a business venture within the interior
design concept – it might only be a small part but so significant. It's
easy to be creative but what is paramount is that the creativity is effective. I
want to help produce the art work that gets results for you.
The best way, as always is to talk; so why not give me a call on 01275 394494,
then you can do this face to face.
